Tips to stay productive during quarantine days

by - April 01, 2020

It's been a tough time...for everyone of us. The healthcare workers (like me and my husband) have to go for work, the IT professionals and others have to work from home, the work from home mom has the craziest situation and some are struggling to find a new way of earning who have been laid off in these uncertain times. But one thing is common in all these situations: battling with productivity. It's really tough to be efficient during these testing times, however we need to be more productive if we want to sail smoothly. The biggest challenge in working from home is this issue and here I am giving tips on how to stay productive during this lockdown or quarantine period.

1. Adopt a healthy lifestyle: I have enumerated how to stay clam and healthy in my previous post. It's easy to fall into a slump and not follow a routine but this is the biggest enemy to productivity. Read: TIPS TO STAY CALM DURING THESE SELF QUARANTINE DAYS

2. Assign a workplace: This is the primary requisite for an efficient way to work from home. It need not be fancy at all...after all, it's your home. However it's important to demarcate work from home. Although a laptop in bed sounds inviting, it's the least productive and unhealthiest habit. Separate a small corner for work. Keep some motivational quotes, cute stationery or whatever works for you.

3. Assign fixed work hours: Working from home does not mean you can pick up your laptop anytime and start responding to emails. Assign a fixed time slot; like that when in office. Don't even think of work beyond those time slots. It's the best way to be productive.

4. Take a healthy diet: It's easy to fall into a rut and munch on chips while working. Refrain from doing so.
Consume mind boosting stuff. Don't forget to take greens everyday.
For healthy snacks, keep roasted almonds and walnuts on your desk. These are packed in proteins, Omega 3 and a very healthy and filling snack.
Cut down on caffeine and aerated drinks and drink more water.

Consume Nature Sure Mind Shakti everyday to boost memory and concentration.

When you are in a distracting environment with an uncertain future on the horizon, it's easy to lose focus and hence productivity goes down the drain. Nature Sure Mind Shakti would help you combat this when taken regularly.

What does Mind Shakti do?
It helps improve cognitive functions.
It helps to enhance memory, concentration and attention.
It helps prevent forgetfulness and memory loss.

5. Take a break every hour. Get up from your chair, take a deep breath, stretch. Take a walk around your room. If there is less space, use your bed/mattress to do some pushups or planks. Blink frequently while working on the computer.

6. Don't work on weekends: Give two days to recharge yourself. Give your make shift workplace a clean swipe. Complete household chores, cook and meal plan for the coming week. Read a book for that much needed motivation.

What else would you like to add to this list? I have been following this regime for the past 10 days.
